Beautiful Stories is a five-year storytelling initiative of the Eugene Peterson Center, created to uncover and share the beauty of Christian faith and life through writing, audio, film, gatherings, and the work of a national storytelling collective.

Why Beautiful Stories?

Beautiful Stories grew from a conviction that the shared human experience can awaken the imagination to the ways God is present and at work in the world. Through carefully crafted stories of people, places, faith, doubt, grief, goodness, belonging, and hope, the initiative highlights the grace and sacredness of everyday life.

Beautiful Stories’ mission is to tell stories that awaken the heart, enlarge the mind, and stir the possibility that Christian faith is wilder, more beautiful, and more human than we remember.
