Support the Center

The Eugene Peterson Center is gathering a faithful community of partners — individuals, churches, and friends — who long to see the Church rooted again in wonder, holiness, and pastoral imagination.

Your giving becomes an act of shared calling. It helps us create spaces where weary pastors rediscover their love for ministry, where writers are encouraged to tend their words as sacred work, and where communities are reminded that God is not in a hurry.

This is not flashy work. It’s not fast or loud. But it is essential. And it depends on the generosity of those who believe in tending the deep roots of faith — slowly, faithfully, year after year.

By giving monthly or annually, you join us in sustaining this quiet labor of love. You help us remain a presence — a center of gravity for those who serve, write, wonder, and seek to follow Jesus in the long, unhurried way.

We cannot do this without you.

What Does Giving Go Toward?

A Note From the Director

Recently, a pastor wrote to me about how he’d come to our Doxology gathering prepared to resign from his church. He’d been in ministry nearly two decades, but he’d recently applied to a university to study for a new degree which would move him into a new vocation. He arrived at Doxology asking God for clarity, for any sign of life. “I found it within only moments,” he wrote. “As soon as we stood to sing the Doxology, I knew that leading the people of God to worship God is what I’m called to do. I rediscovered the ‘burning in my bones’ to be a pastor.” Since The Peterson Center launched in 2021, it’s been astounding to experience the Spirit stirring renewed hunger for our most fundamental need: to be re-enchanted by the love, beauty, and holiness of God. Thank you for being part of our fledgling beginning. Now we need to build the financial support to sustain this work for the years ahead. Since everything we’re doing centers on conversations and friendship, our support will mostly come from people who share our hopes and prayers for the beauty and renewal God makes possible. Our support will come from friends like you. Will you deepen your partnership with us and help us form a reliable stream of financial support?
